Connecting Splashtop to The SysAid AI Agent Builder
Launch remote support sessions directly from within SysAid for your service desk team

There’s no need to open a separate platform or manually generate session links. Instead of switching between systems, administrators can request a remote control session inside the service record. The AI agent automatically generates the required access links, allowing IT teams to begin assisting users immediately. This creates a smoother support experience and reduces response time when help is needed most.
Supported Environments
This integration is available for:
- SysAid Cloud customers
- Splashtop Enterprise customers
If you do not yet have a Splashtop Enterprise account, you can start with a Remote Support Enterprise trial.
How to Connect Splashtop with SysAid AI Agent Builder
To activate the integration, you’ll need to configure API access in Splashtop and connect it within SysAid.
Each IT agent who is authorized to initiate remote sessions must generate their own Splashtop API token. Tokens cannot be created on behalf of other users.
Step 1: Create an API Token in Splashtop
1. Log in to your Splashtop account.
2. Navigate to Management > Settings > API.
3. Select Create API Token.
4. Optionally adjust the token scope and expiration settings.
5. Click Save, copy the generated API token, and close the window.
Important
The API token is displayed only once at creation. Be sure to copy and securely store it, as it cannot be viewed again later.
After saving the token:
- Enable (toggle on) the API token you just created.
Step 2: Configure the Connector in SysAid
1. Log in to your SysAid account.
2. Go to Settings > AI Agents > AI Agent Builder.
3. Search for and select the Splashtop Connector.
4. Enter the email address associated with the Splashtop API token you created.
Email Matching Requirement
SysAid verifies the logged-in administrator’s email against the API tokens configured in the connection settings.
To ensure successful authentication:
- The Admin must have an email address defined in their SysAid user profile.
- A corresponding API token must exist in Splashtop for that exact email address.
If you update an Admin’s email address in SysAid, log out and log back in for the changes to take effect.
5. Paste the same API token into the Controller API Key (Bearer Token) field.
6. Repeat this process for each IT agent who requires remote access capabilities.
If additional team members need access, you can invite them through the Users section in your Splashtop account. Each user must log in and generate their own API token.
Finalizing the Setup
- Click Test to verify the connection.
- Once the test is successful and you receive confirmation, click Publish.
Your Splashtop account is now successfully linked with the SysAid AI Agent Builder 🎉
Troubleshooting
If the connection test does not succeed:
- Double-check the email address and API token.
- Confirm the token is activated in Splashtop.
- Ensure the logged-in Admin email matches the configured token.
If issues continue, contact your support team for assistance.
What You Can Do Next
After completing the integration, you can:
- Deploy available prebuilt Splashtop AI agents
- Create custom AI agents tailored to your workflow using the AI Agent Builder
This setup allows your service desk to initiate remote sessions directly from within SysAid, improving efficiency and reducing friction during support interactions.
