Acunetix is now Invicti Web + API.

The capabilities are the same. The team behind them is the same. The name now reflects exactly what the product does — and exactly where it fits in the Invicti platform.

Acunetix’s Rebranding to Invicti

Invicti was built in 2005, at the very beginning of the shift from static web pages to true web applications. The goal then was the same one that drives the company today: make it easier for security teams to validate real vulnerabilities and act fast to resolve them.

In 2018, Invicti became part of Invicti Security, a company founded by security engineers who saw a need for change in the cybersecurity space and built it themselves.

Invicti Web + API is one of three packages on the Invicti platform. The name reflects the work directly:
